The veteran producers of award winning programs for NBC, PBS, National Geographic, and Discovery formed an independent company with Armchair Aviatrix in October 2013. Air Fare America’s unique value proposition, target audience, and trends in the entertainment industry convinced the principals it was a worthy business venture. Electing to retain responsibility for creative control, franchising and management, AFA, LLC secured private investment in 2014 for production and development.

Andréa Vernot, Creator & Partner
With 25 years in event production and travel marketing, Andréa is an award-winning economic development executive and former government official. Prior to creating Air Fare, she was CMO for Maryland’s business agency and the founding COO of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts. In 2012, she founded Choptank Communications, a brand marketing and PR firm specializing in business development, higher education and tourism.
Jeff Weingarten, Managing Partner
Jeff Weingarten, President and Owner of Interface Media Group (IMG), is a media industry leader and a nationally recognized digital artist. He took ownership of IMG in 2007 after spending 18 years helping the company design captivating visual effects for television, film, exhibits and commercials. Under Jeff’s management, IMG has furthered its leadership position by continually bringing new products and services to an ever-expanding market.
